Bargaining, part 2.0

A computer has fallen from the sky into my lap, so I’ll be annoying you here again. Hooray!

Things that I’ve been procrastinating but actually did do, a rare event that actually happens once in a platonic year:

1. I’ve also updated the links thingamadoodle widget to include some more blogs.
2. I’ve started to investigate how to format better & ‘n stuff
3. I have awesome plans for the future
4. C’mon, isn’t three enough?

Crazy things I’m doing this month:

1. Screnzy (script frenzy)
2. The race (no details, no stalking)
3. This.

So… Here I am.

In case you haven’t heard, my computer has decided to slowly die, working then crashing spontaneously. Again. So I’m putting this in stasis until I somehow find a solution or until a new computer miraculously falls from the sky into my arms with some cheesy music playing in the background and then everyone happily lived ever after until they were brutally murdered. I’ll still be around in other places, I hope.

What? I sort of forget about these things. Anyway, now I’m going to change the song, put in who’s here and a graphics page and possibly browse for alternative theme options and check out widgets… Hey, a girl can dream! I pledge to do the first bit, so there.

I tried to write a post about this first paragraph at two a.m., but encountered difficulties. What seemed irritating then is very good now, as I’m afraid that my lucidity rapidly deteriorates after about ten p.m. and my post would have been …interesting. And I just realized that “Whee, I have a blog, it isn’t hacked/broken/it looks good/wow”. So, just wanted to mention this while I’m being so sentimental.

BUFFY!

I’m in season two (at episode 7, to be precise) now, really far behind everyone else but gaining (I hope). Hmm… I liked Xander better last season, as for Angel- I’m afraid I prefer SPIKE! *obsess* Of course, the fact that he keeps trying to kill Buffy is a bit of a minus, but teh most pwnsome vampire anyway… words fail.

MuRuMo

I’m going running this month… I can’t wait. Running 50 miles in 30 days sounds like sadistic torture, but I need the exercise badly. Imagine what happens to a big german shepherd (dog, in case you were unsure XD) if you keep it locked up all day for weeks… nasty mental picture, but the same principle applies. I’ll post my progress here…

Another one bites the dust…

Ah, what a loverly time of year when the teachers finally get their revenge for all the times you were gently snoring in the back of your classroom! Finals; one geography portfolio long procrastinated, two biology exams, one latin exam and a presentation and a test in english.

And a certain change of fauna in a place we know and love makes me quite furious. Anyway, it boils down to the fact that I’ll probably either spend ages on her procrastinating or be away studying. *sigh* Maybe I should make that anger management instead of acting classes next semester… *feels the overwhelming need to do something destructive*

At least I found these shirts the other day- several are quite brutal, but very satisfying.

A change of theme

I knew that trying to set a nice setting for my blog would be hard. After finding this theme in the selection, I congratulated myself on this unique discovery. The perfect theme, calming and serene and beautiful.

And now I find out that I’ve not only (unfairly) left fireh’s blog out of my blogroll, I’ve also ripped off her style. All that in a good day’s work. I knew that I was an evil genius!

So, I’m embarking on a irritating and probably pointless epic and fantastic waste of time quest to finally avoid plagiarism right wrongs, do great deeds and return with the perfect theme for this piece of dead junk new creation of mine full of potential. If you happen to stop by, let me know what you think. Maybe I’ll be able to see the snow on the next one…

Blog games

On the PTR forum, we had several forum games; the “wishing game”, “word association” and “spread a rumor about the person above you”. Does anyone want to give them a try here or maybe suggest a different one? I’m too stupid busy for paker, but otherwise I’m open to any suggestions.

One week later…

So, seven days have passed since I started this place up, and I’m still happily on the road of procrastination, albeit wiser in some ways.

As usual, my blog is coming down with the mini-MB chronic sickness of slowly sliding into a few-post coma, followed by death. So, I get to do what I do best and what I sort of meant to do all along- chatter idly to myself. If you want to have something, you’ve got to do it yourself.

So, another week’s over. It’s snowing (surprise, surprise). The world continues to revolve as usual and I’m off to blatantly advertise my blog everywhere find something else to do.

As you may have noticed from my exuberant victory dances all the way from here to KB, I’ve finally finished my NaNoWriMo. Now I’m faced with the prospect of having all this free time until april, which frankly is starting to seem rather scary.

I said I wouldn’t make a blog, as not to traumatize various blogging friends by sending them running in the other direction screaming. Besides, these mini-MBs have a life span of about a month. So I rationalized not to make one. But then I got bored, so here goes. (This is the part where you run for cover)
